
Ben Rosner
Ben Rosner is a Senior Advisor for Crisis Communications and Special Situations at MACCO, based out of Chicago, IL. He advises CEOs and boards during crises, restructurings, major litigation, and high-stakes transactions, where perception puts enterprise value at risk.
Ben's background spans military, corporate, and diplomatic environments at senior levels. He has counseled Fortune 500 companies through some of the most complex corporate crises and transactions of the past decade and led international media strategy during active military operations. Ben has guided leadership teams through high-profile stakeholder situations across media, regulators, investors, and employees, aligning legal and business objectives under compressed timelines.
Prior to MACCO, Ben served as Head of Strategy and Crisis Communications for the Israel Defense Forces, as a political advisor for Security Council matters at the Permanent Mission of Israel to the United Nations in New York City, and as a policy advisor and speechwriter at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem. He earned his M.A. in International Affairs and Security Policy from Columbia University.

- Advised on the largest criminal fine imposed on an automaker in U.S. history, including stakeholder communications and post-crisis reputation strategy across DOJ, EPA, and multi-state AG investigations.
- Advised on a $63B acquisition, one of the ten largest pharmaceutical M&A transactions ever executed. Instructed transaction communications to investors, regulators, employees, and media across multiple jurisdictions.
- Led the IDF's international media strategy during the Oct 7 War, coordinating crisis response across 800 media outlets and 130+ accredited journalists around the world.
- Managed strategic communications for C-suite clients across The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, AP, Reuters, CNBC, Bloomberg TV, and other national outlets.
- Served as a communications and strategy advisor to the Chief of the General Staff and Generals across the Intelligence Directorate, Air Force, Ground Forces, and Navy.
